What is Mndfl Physio about?
Mndfl Physio was founded with the intent to put the focus in healthcare back on the patient, not on third party payers. Our model involves a more intimate evaluation and treatment setting, which includes one on one care, a highly individualized treatment plan, coordinated goals, and flexible scheduling in order to get you back to what you love in much less time than the “traditional” PT model.
Mndfl Physio values the holistic or “whole person” approach to treatment with an emphasis on body sustainability. This means we address social and emotional concerns, nutrition, and lifestyle in addition to a full physical assessment in order to get the most out of your body. MNDFL is derived from the word “mindful” - an extremely important concept in our overall well-being and physical health. You will be guided on ways to focus on your awareness of your body and your ability to regulate emotions during movement. Our treatment approach is heavily based on education and movement with supplemental hands on treatment as needed. The intent is to help you manage your own body.
We are an out-of-network provider, which allows us more freedom to treat you the way we feel is best. This gives us more flexibility on number of visits, types of treatment provided, and more time spent with YOU and less with insurance companies.
Jacqueline Drees PT, DPT, COMT
Hello! I am Doctor Jacqueline Drees. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I have found myself in various locations in pursuit of education and community. I began my education at Western Michigan University, where I played four years for the Women’s soccer team and received my Exercise Science degree. In 2016, I received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Tennessee State University. Since 2016 I have worked to achieve advanced certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Level 1 Dry Needling, and training in Pelvic Heath. I use my athletic experience and injury history, including 3 ACL surgeries, disc herniations, and concussion rehab, to help patients find meaning with movement again. While I am not still actively playing soccer (yet), I stay active with backpacking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, weight training, CrossFit, fishing, and living full time in a travel trailer on our homestead in progress!
